Leslie (she/her/hers) is a passionate and good-humored advocate for inclusion and equity. She graduated from James Madison University in 2012 and lives in Arlington, Virginia. She currently works as the Communications Director for TIC Summer Camp.
Leslie brings creative, direct, and multi-tiered solutions to pervasive inequities found in almost all spaces. She believes strongly in changing perspectives, committing to the life-long unlearning of our biases and continuous open-minded self-education about all types of people- as a first step! Then it's time to take what you've learned and actively apply it to changes on both the individual and institutional level.
If you work with Leslie, you can expect her to be open and honest, listen intently to your needs and concerns, and help you set up a plan to center equity and inclusion as a part of your every day actions.
In her spare time, Leslie loves reading feminist essays, running, painting, and making very specific, obscure movie and tv references.
(Speaking of which- do you know which classic movie filmed their final scene at this beach?)
